Household Hazardous Waste Event Information

Household hazardous wastes are common materials that are used in everyday homes. Some examples include but are not limited to- paint, herbicides, pesticides, gas, diesel, batteries, unused/expired medications, cleaning agents, computers, and TVs. If managed unproperly these items can pose a threat to ground, water, air quality, and even human life.The Twin Oaks Landfill hosts a bi-annual event to properly dispose of and in many instances, recycle the materials free of charge to the residents of the Brazos Valley.
